I asked what the maximum battery voltage is. \u00a0“1.5V”. \u00a0Well, yes, I know 1.5V cells work, but how much higher can I go? \u00a0Oh well, I’ll measure it. \u00a0Anyway, the best answer was to my second question, asking what highest voltage the 5V external socket would accept.<\/p>\n
“You can attach this to a 110-240V mains adapter”<\/p>\n
Right. \u00a0So where exactly, at 100,000 feet am I going to find a mains supply? \u00a0Perhaps go higher and ask the International Space Station if they have a spare mains reel?<\/p>\n
