In my previous entry I said “I’ve emailed Kodak to ask what the voltage limit is, but I’m not expecting a useful reply.”
I got a reply.
It wasn’t useful.
I asked what the maximum battery voltage is. “1.5V”. Well, yes, I know 1.5V cells work, but how much higher can I go? Oh well, I’ll measure it. Anyway, the best answer was to my second question, asking what highest voltage the 5V external socket would accept.
“You can attach this to a 110-240V mains adapter”
Right. So where exactly, at 100,000 feet am I going to find a mains supply? Perhaps go higher and ask the International Space Station if they have a spare mains reel?
Anyway it brought me a laugh at the start of my day 🙂
