HAB Chase is a simple Android app that has one task – to put you on the Sondehub map (Amateur or Pro/Sonde).
That’s it. No receiving. No map.
At the moment it’s for Android only; let me know if you want to use it on an iPhone or GPS-equipped iPad.
For now it’s not in the Google Play store, but you can download the APK directly:

Are you planning to release the iOS application anytime soon?
For anyone looking for an iOS option in the meantime: you can still participate in the chase by sharing your position to Sondehub using the web interface or other generic GPS sharing tools. It’s not quite as simple as a dedicated app, but it works well enough during launches and recoveries.
Hopefully an iOS build or community port happens at some point, because having a lightweight “just put me on the map” tool like this is really useful for chasers.
